Deborah Souders is a professional painter and college instructor who resides in Philadelphia. Her paintings have been exhibited in numerous galleries throughout the United States. She holds a BFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and an MFA from Towson State University. Souders has been the recipient of many awards and participated in invitational exhibitions such as the Chautauqua National and the Maryland Museum and Gallery Exhibition in Baltimore. Sounders has curated two regional exhibitions, 'The Landscape Revisited' and 'Screens,' both in Maryland. She has taught at Maryland colleges for many years. She currently lives in Philadelphia.
