Artist Robert Moss-Vreeland lives and works in Philadelphia, PA. He has been exhibiting his work for four decades in galleries and museums with many represented in private collections. He studied under renowned sculptors Walter Erlebacher, Natalie Charkow and Italo Scanga, and ceramic artists Bill Daley and Rudy Staffel. He gained his BFA from The Philadelphia College of Art and Design and MFA from Tyler School of Art, with a fellowship to Rome. He is the founder of the Studio Art Program at The Agnes Irwin School, Rosemont and for over three decades chaired the department, and taught studio art there. Moss-Vreeland is a recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Grant, and the national commission to design the Memorial Room of the Holocaust Museum Houston, that earned Robert and his artist wife Patricia an AIA Honor Award for Art and Architecture from the Houston Chapter of AIA and The Spectrum International Award’s First Prize in Tile Design for the Memorial Room’s Wall of Tears.
