The Chestnut Hill Gallery is proud to announce an exhibition of the new paintings of Philip Cohn. A Philadelphia native, Cohn has been painting his hometown for over fifty years. He also paints landscapes of Europe, where he has traveled extensively, and cites Italian, French and Dutch painting traditions as a major influence on his painting style and subject matter. Cohn’s work also revolves around the human condition, depicting people engaged in everyday activities. A reception will be held on the evening of April 10th from 6 to 8 PM.
